Instagram Advertising thru Facebook
This September, Instagram announced that they are now allowing small and medium advertisers to run campaigns on its platform. It will be open to all countries starting September 30.
Since Instagram partnered with Facebook, you may now place and monitor your Instagram ads thru the Facebook Power Editor and Ads Manager, as well on the Instagram Ads API. However, while you don’t need an Instagram account to run ads, you will need to have one to be able to view and/or respond to comments on your ads.
Instagram will let you create ads in different formats, such as photo, video, carousel, and marquee. They have also recently allowed lanscape photos and videos, and increase the lengths of videos up to 30 seconds.
This new offer will make it easier for businesses to reach the 5 million Australian users on Instagram.
To prepare for this and to start using it, all you have to do is connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Business Page. Here’s how to it:

Connecting your Facebook Business Page to Instagram
